• Please upload one clear, high-quality image for each artwork

• These images will be used on the online sales page 

• May also be used for promotional purposes

• We encourage you to supply the best possible photographs of your work

Image guidelines:

• File format: JPG/PNG

• File size: Under 10MB

• File name format: firstname-lastname-title-of-work

● Entries close at midnight on Sunday 1 December 2025

● Please note that the number of entries is capped at 500 artworks and if that number is reached prior to the deadline, entries will be closed early

The entry fee varies based on the number of works:

●  $55 for one work

● $110 for two works

● $165 for three works

● Entry fees are non-refundable

The entry fee helps with additional administrative and labour costs related to organising an exhibition of this scale.

●  Labelling must be clear and legible on the back of the work or with the artwork

● All artwork must arrive at the gallery ready to hang 

● All framed artworks must have d-rings and wired attached for hanging

● Canvases must have d-rings and wired attached for hanging

● All unframed works on paper needs to have tabs ready for hanging

● Will not pin through the paper or artworks

● If magnets are required they must be supplied by the artist

● D rings with wire only 

● No sawtooth 

● No metal tabs

● No velcro strips

● Tags (if unframe paperworks) need to be ready to hang

● Sculpture will only be placed on plinths not on walls

● Sculptures need to provide museum gel

● If your work does not have a sufficient hanging provided on the back it will not be hung and you will not be refunded your entry fee

●  The gallery has the final say in all curatorial decisions

●  Specific placement requests will not be accepted 

Artworks must be created from 2024 to 2025

● In the event of a sale of artwork, we Let you know if any artwork has sold via email

● You are require to send us an invoice with the breakdown of the artwork sold minus 20% commission

● It is the artist’s responsibility to ensure bank details are correct

● Artist Settlements are prepared and finalised up to 30 days after the exhibition's end

● No Diptych or triptych 

● Only single artworks 

● Unsold works MUST be collected from the Red Gallery on these dates

● In person:  Saturday or Sunday 24 - 25 January 2026 10-4 pm

● By courier: Friday - Saturday   23 - 25 January 10-4pm

● Must send barcode and time of pick up

● Work not collected on the final day will be charged a $25 late fee for each week not collected

● If artwork is still not collected 60 days after exhibition has finished it will be considered abandoned, and will be disposed of

● Artists are responsible for bringing packaging for transport of works upon collection

● First prize - Solo exhibition for 2026 value of $2500

● Second prize - One of the artist selected for Red Salon 2026 

● Third prize - Selected for a curator group exhibition in 2026 

● If you have a preferred name that is different from your legal name, please include it in brackets ( ) when submitting

●  Unsold works must be collected from the Red Gallery on these dates

●  In-person: Sunday 25 January 2026 at 11 am - 3pm

●  By courier: Collected by Friday 23 January 11 am - 4pm

●  Artists are responsible for bringing packaging for the transport of works upon collection

●  In the event, you cannot collect personally, the artist can nominate someone to collect on their behalf on the above dates.

●  You will need to email us names and dates for collection in advance in advance of the exhibition closing

●  Their matching ID must be shown to collect the artwork

●  Email in advance which courier will be used for collection

●  Artist must provide packaging for artwork to be packed for the courier

●  The Gallery will package the artwork for return

●  The Artist must already have the details of the packed weight and dimensions

●  Email us the barcode and delivery address details so we can print and attach information to the package

●  It is the artist's responsibility to arrange a courier 

●  Collected by Friday 23 January 2026

●  Once the artwork is packaged after the exhibition

●  The artist is responsible for the shipping insurance of the artwork

Works not collected by 25 March 2026 will be considered abandoned, and will be disposed of

●  20% Gallery Commission on all artwork sales applies

●  Artists will be notified about sales after the exhibition has concluded

●  With the sale of artwork, we will require you to send us an invoice with the following 

- Artwork sold 

- your details

- ABN

- Your bank details to receive payment 

●  It is the artist’s responsibility to ensure bank details are correct

●  Artist Settlements are prepared and finalised up to 30 days after the exhibition's end

●  Artist’s Insurance Responsibility: The Artist is solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining appropriate insurance coverage for their Artworks, including but not limited to theft, damage, or loss during storage, transit, or display, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

●  Gallery’s Responsibility: The Gallery is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to the Artworks while in its possession, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

●  Proof of Insurance: Upon request, the Artist shall provide proof of insurance coverage to the Gallery.

●  Artworks damaged in transit will not be hung

●  While we take care of artwork, following industry best practices, Red Gallery takes no responsibility for theft, loss or damage to artwork

●  It is advised that concerned artists purchase their insurance

● Ownership: The Artist retains all copyright and intellectual property rights to the Artworks   unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.

● License to Gallery: The Artist grants Red Gallery permission to use images and descriptions of the Artworks solely for purposes of marketing, promotion, and sale during the term of this Agreement.

● Gallery's Liability: Red Gallery shall not be held liable for any claims of copyright infringement brought against the Artist for the Artworks unless the infringement arises directly from the Gallery’s unauthorized actions.
