Artist Statement

Pranay Lodhiya is a photographer, poet, and visual storyteller whose work fuses imagery and verse into what he calls his Photographic Journey. Through the interplay of light, emotion, and language, he transforms ordinary moments into visual poems that evoke and connect. His art captures not just what is seen, but what is felt—where mood, rhythm, and reflection converge in every frame.

Artist Biography

Photography is Pranay’s lens; poetry is his voice. Together, they form his Poetographic Journey—a fusion of image and verse that allows him to express, reflect, and connect.

For Pranay, every photograph is more than a visual record—it’s an emotional moment shaped by rhythm, light, and feeling. Through the interplay of composition and language, he seeks to create experiences that evoke, provoke, and narrate stories beyond what is visible.

To him, poetry and photography are twin expressions—one through language, the other through light. Both possess the power to pause time, stir emotion, and reveal the extraordinary within the ordinary. His work explores this convergence, where atmosphere and emotion meet in the delicate balance of shadow and form.

Pranay is drawn to scenes, people, and even inanimate objects—whether in nature, the streets, or intimate spaces—where rawness and mood intertwine. Each frame begins as a feeling and unfolds into a dialogue between subject and self. Through careful choices in perspective and tone, he captures not just appearances but sensations—moments that breathe.

His approach to photography is both visual and introspective. Often working with unposed subjects, Pranay embraces authenticity and unpredictability, allowing truth to emerge in its natural rhythm. The way each viewer interprets a photograph fascinates him—this exchange mirrors how readers encounter poetry, making each piece an ongoing dialogue between artist, subject, and audience.

Behind his imagery lies a harmony of instinct and technique. Pranay refines his work through digital blending, tonal modulation, and precise adjustments in contrast and sharpness—all in service of preserving clarity, emotion, and narrative depth. His process values precision without losing spontaneity, ensuring every image resonates both visually and poetically.

As he continues his journey in light and language, Pranay seeks new opportunities to exhibit, collaborate, and expand the conversation between photography and poetry. Every image he creates is a verse in light—a fragment of a larger narrative that connects feeling with form. His art is not merely about capturing what he sees, but translating what he feels: a visual poem, a moment framed, a story told through his eyes.
