“Here and There” brings together a diverse group of local artists who all share a dedication and interest in oil painting and who attend Fitzroy Painting art studio in Brunswick Street. The exhibition explores the diversity of the landscape offering a unique glimpse into the personal connections and reflections of each artist.

From local parks, country Victoria and nearby Merri Creek to the vast, untamed expanses of South Africa, New Zealand, and Japan, the works in this exhibition celebrate the diverse environments that inspire. Each work invites the viewer to experience landscapes that are not only visually interesting but meaningful to the artists themselves.

In “Here and There,” the ever-changing nature of the world is explored—where familiar, local spaces and faraway lands intersect through the eyes of the artists offering a thoughtful reflection on how landscapes, in all their forms, connect us to the world and to each other.
