Modern Icons - A visual celebration of the divine human spirit

Modern iconography is the outstanding depiction of a figure that has a special significant meaning attached to it. Traditionally, icons were used in religion to show divine figures that were representative of those religious beliefs. These images of icons were placed in the home, at businesses, and in public spaces as a visual reminder of these core beliefs. Modern iconography moves away from the religious institution, focusing on the divine brilliance that resides in all of us: who we have been, what we carry with us, and who we strive to be. 

Modern Icons is comprised of 4 bodies of work: Imperfect Icons, Like an Icon, Icons Reloaded, and Journey of an Icon.
