Crystal’s work begins with fleeting moments of beauty — brief sensations that appear before thought can define them. She paints to capture these transitions: the tension between colours, the pulse of a gesture, the breath of light on a surface. Drawing from her background in textiles and a life shaped by both Eastern subtlety and Western abstraction, she follows intuition rather than intention. Each piece becomes a pause in time, a quiet space where emotion and perception meet, inviting viewers to linger with what is delicate, shifting, and momentarily alive.
