Angela Ndalianis is a Melbourne-based artist who transitioned to visual arts after nearly 30 years as an academic, where she built a distinguished career as a professor of screen media and art history. Her scholarly focus on horror and science fiction genres now finds new and compelling expression through her painting practice.
Ndalianis’s work explores themes drawn from her academic background, infusing her art with rich narrative and symbolic depth. In the past year, her paintings have been exhibited at Brunswick Street Gallery, Fly Little Bird, and Linden New Art Gallery. In November 2024, she held a solo exhibition at Red Gallery titled Divine Darkness: A Female Odyssey, further cementing her presence in the contemporary art scene.
