This show will scare your pants off!
Ten talented artists - Meg Andrew, Steve Cox, Tony Cran, Tom Dunn, Brodie Ellis, Cecilia Fogelberg, Emily Feretti, Marita Hamalainen, Lindsey Moffat and Sean Richards - explore the concept of monsters. These artists explore the dynamics of horror in contemporary popular culture, with a focus on monsters as manifestations of our cultural dark side. What are monsters? And where are they lurking? Do they lie in wait under the bed, do they loiter in the dark? What scares you once the lights go out? We may help you define your fears (or we just make them worse!) This exhibition of ‘monsters in a modern context’, offers a diverse range of painting and sculpture, from the subtle, to the in-your-face.
